Signer.Digital Java Library may be used to integrate Digital Signing functionality in Java applications.  The library has ready to use models, settings, and methods to sign file or pdf documents using various signature source viz. PFX Certificate, USB Token or Smartcard, Kluis API (Cloud HSM offering by Signer.Digital), or own HSM.

The methods provided by this library helps application developers to just call a single method by passing SignatureSetting and file or PDF file byte array to achieve signing using desired signature from specified Signature Source and required appearance of PDF signature.

Following sections describes the functionality available in Signer.Digital.JavaLib.jar

Sample Integration projects with complete Java source code is available on request.

Separate libraries are available to handle browser based signing scenarios where Digital Signing or DSC Authentication needs to be implemented in Web Applications and signature source is USB Token connected to client's device acting through Web Browser.  Signer.Digital does NOT use older methods like ActiveX or Java Applets. Signer.Digital uses Browser Extensions for Digitally Signing PDF Files.
